Project Manager
Dave brings 22 years of hospitality and tourism experience to his role as Project Manager at SoldOut Events. His career spans hotels, functions, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, ski resorts and catering, with progression from entry level positions through to venue management, gained across Brisbane, Melbourne and Canada.
Prior to joining SoldOut, Dave spent five years as QLD Operations and Safety Manager for a State Sports Organisation, where he was responsible for venue and logistics management alongside Work Health and Safety (WHS), including safety protocols and incident reporting and management. This role sharpened his ability to balance operational delivery with rigorous safety standards across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Dave joined SoldOut in April 2026 to lead delivery of a 14-event State Government roadshow, drawing on his extensive event management and safety background to coordinate logistics, stakeholder relationships and on the ground operations across venues throughout Queensland.
Dave holds qualifications in Business, WHS, Security Operations, and Hospitality and Tourism, reflecting a well-rounded skill set that combines commercial acumen with a strong safety first approach to event delivery.
With a career built on hands on experience across every level of the hospitality and events industry, Dave brings both operational depth and strategic oversight to every project he manages.
