Georgia Butler
15 years Australian event experience scoping, informing, managing and delivering programs of local, national and global significance, with a focus on community, tourism, corporate, entertainment and sport industries. Georgia holds a bachelor’s degree and also Masters in Event and Sports Management.
Georgia started her events career working on the Internationally recognised Magic Millions Racing Carnival in the events and marketing team. Georgia then moved on to be the Events Operations Manager at Events Queensland delivering events such as the Gold Coast Marathon, Pan Pacific Masters Games, International Film Awards and Gold Coast Schoolies. Having an appreciation and keen interest for large event infrastructure builds Georgia went on to join the Major Project Team at Moreton Hire as Senior Account Manager managing events such as the Avalon Airshow, Queensland Mining Exhibition, Beef Australia, Brisbane Racing Carnival, Woodford Folk Festival, Gold Coast Turf Club, Magic Millions Carnival, Quiksilver Pro and Australian Open Polo. Managing large accounts such as these grew her interest in client management and business development. Georgia’s career saw her move into the role of National Events and Sponsorship Manager at Harcourts Australia. Delivering and managing the National events team and the portfolio of local, state, regional and National awards and conferences for the brand. Her strong client management skills and full experience on both the client and supplier side delivering events saw Georgia move into her area of passion as the National Business Development Manager at Valiant Events. Securing the following major events and clients for the business, Brisbane International Tennis, Brisbane Racing Club, Brisbane Broncos, Gold Coast Titans, Bond University, Brisbane Bullets, Brisbane Airport Corporation, Griffith University, various brand activations at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, Aquis, Howard Smith Wharves, Noosa Food and Wine Festival and Queensland Rugby League.
Georgia is the Client Services Director at SoldOut and is based in our Brisbane office.
